Question WHICH LCD??? Samsung LN52A550 or LN46A550

I'm deciding b/w these two sets:
1. SAMSUNG 52" 1080p LCD HDTV LN52A550
2. SAMSUNG ToC 46" 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV w/ DNIe - LN46A650 (**sorry, I said LN46A550 in the thread title**)

Similar Price:
1. 1577
2. 1550

Biggest difference that I can tell:
1. has 52", but only 60hz. 5ms response.
2. only is 46". but has touch of color, is 120 hz. 4ms response.

I see that the 52" actually has a 5 ms response, vs 4ms in the 46", so I don't see how 120hz is making much of a difference?

I've never actually seen the TOC, but heard it looks good. Is it worth it?

My use primarily is watching HD tv w/ Directtv and movies via blue ray. I going to get a playstation 3, so will do some gaming, but mainly just watch movies. Will NOT be using as a computer monitor.

I'm kinda leaning toward the 52", what do you all think?

THANKS!!!!

It depends on how far away you will be viewing it from when it comes to screen sizes. If you are more than about 7 feet away go with the larger size IMO.

thanks for the info. Now I'm trying to decide on the plasma version of those listed above. Now I'm leaning toward the 50" plasma : PN50A650.

Plasmas have better PQ and a big part of the reason WHY is because they have much better black levels and that effects all other aspects of PQ.

I think going plasma is wiser and usually for less money now too.
