Hello,
Can anybody tell me The difference between the 237T and 537H. The 537H is rated pretty good in Consumer Reports, can't find any thing on the237T. Who makes thier panels? How about repairs?

I read somewhere that Brillian-Syntax, Olevia's parent company is having financial difficulties and is looking to leave the market. You might want to look at some other brands before you make a decision.

A couple of weeks ago I read on the Washington Post's website that the parent company of Olevia had defaulted on their loan obligations. The general tone of the story was that basically they were toast.

Olevia/Brillian-Syntax is in a lawsuit for about $60 million for selling HD monitors after the FCC mandate that all televisions have tuners in them.

Regent's Maxent brand plasmas were also a target of the lawsuit.

Syntax-Brillian also just signed an agreement to get Sharp and LG panels. You will be more than fine with an Olevia and SD will look better on your LCD than 90% of what's out there. Very nice internal video processors and name brand panels.
