Cool Digital Channels

We have 2 new HDTV LCD televisions that are connected by just basic cable thru Charter. My question, I can get loads of digital channels on my 19" tv, but these same channels will not come in on my 32". It says the digital signal is to weak. Why would they come in on a small set and not the larger ones?
I do get the local HD channels on both! The second question is what causes a screen to freeze? One channel will be okay, but another freezes sometimes. Yes, they do that on each tv.

My TV has two different settings:
1) Antenna
2) Cable

If you have the TV set to antenna, and have a cable line running into it, you are essentially using the cable cord as an antenna.

If you have the TV set to cable it will use your cable company to find digital stations.

If you see a message saying week signal, my guess is you have the TV set to antenna, and the cable cord is not a strong enough antenna to pick up a good signal.

At least this is how it is on my TV. So my guess is one of your TV's is set to cable, which is the one working. The other is probably set to antenna and doesn't have a strong enough signal to work.

Screen freeze is usually caused by a weak signal. HD channels need a stronger more constant signal to work well. If you can, switch to HD boxes with your cable company, many are having promotions now and are not even more money than SD boxes. You'll enjoy the tvs with more HD channels and probably the freeze will stop.
