Unhappy Not supported mode... but with a Chromecast...

Hello everyone,

I have an old Samsung TV -- I don't have the model number since I'm at work, but I have a similar problem to everyone here... but it's not a cable box -- it's a Chromecast Gen2.

Chromecast has had no problem displaying on the HDMI port, until 1 day we turn it on to get the black screen with message "not supported mode;" I have messed with the resolution settings, pushing the update to Chromecast, and factory resetting the Chromecast. Anyone else know of a workaround or any other fix??
