Is this more likely to be a problem with my TV or PS3?

Default Is this more likely to be a problem with my TV or PS3?

The TV is a sony bravia LCD. I can't really know for sure if it's the TV or not since the only connection I have going to the TV is my PS3.

There's this vertical green line going down the screen in one exact location. On some colors it's not there. So I wondered if it was color blending, so I changed my ps3 theme to the color opposite green on the color wheel (red) and the entire line is visible.

Only fragments of it are available on other colors, and when I dim the screen it becomes less visible(I mean aside from just getting darker >_> Like parts of the line disappear)

I also played with the zoom options my TV had. It seems like everything else on the screen moved position when I switched to the various zoom settings, but the line stayed in the same position.

I know that a lot of you probably aren't PS3 experts, but I'd assume you guys know something about TVs, and if this kind of problem could happen with a TV

Thanks.

Sounds like the TV to me. Borrow a SD DVD player and see if it is there when that is connected to prove it is the TV.

Alright I can now confirm that it is the TV.

What now...?

Is it still in the return period to the store? If so return it for another set. If not, is it still within the warranty period? If so call Sony. If not either of those you may have a big bill and it might be cheaper to buy a new TV.

Good luck!
