Default Local HD Choices (why some?)

In the Grand Rapids, Michigan market, we get ABC, NBC and Fox in HD but not CBS.

How does Dishnetwork decide what locals each market will get and is there a chance we will get CBS in the near future?

Any light you can shed on this topic is appreciated.

Dish and your local CBS has not reached a retransmission consent. Unless both parties agree, Dish cannot by law provide it to you.

So it's all about the money. The two have to reach a deal so I can get the channel in HD?

It's either the sd feed or you have OTA.
