Why only free for a couple of weeks? I see nothing on it that suggests it's worth paying extra for.

I wish movieplex 377 & Scine 353 Epix3 292 would be in HD sadly all 3 are only in SD.

I have the HD Package.

Your EHD will not work on any one elses receiver.

It's amazing to see the history of HD channels in 1 long thread.

Did you see how long it's sticking to the top of the forum ? Amazing...

An EHD can be transferred once but not shared between DVR and non-DVR receivers. Hard drives cannot be swapped between the two groups of receivers without formatting. Moving between DVR & non-DVR will require re-formatting which will delete any stored programs.

It seems like a bunch of HD premium movie channels have been added up around where HDnet is in the program lineup. Unfortunately they all seem to be part of the Platinum package which is $10 extra a month.

I remembered all of that when I bought my HDTV. I went with DISH even though D* promised me the moon. LOL. I talked with a D* CSR who was a real American a few weeks ago. When she told me I could not plug my OTA into the DVR, I thanked her and said we could not do business.
