not to sound sarcastic, but u are wasting your time asking this, Dish says they wont pay for YES, or atleast the same price everyone else pays, they want it for far less, similar to TWC and the NFL Network.

I had Dish, and reason I switched is being a yankee fan, and in NY no YES Network, come on thats BS.

And worst no MLB EI, and on top of that, if your a nets fan, and get the NBA LP, you wont see any Nets games, cause there blacked out, unless on national tv.

I think AMC is owned by somebody who is in litigation (who isn't) with Dish - don't hold your breath.

I just asked Dish if they were going to add "My Network TV" The local channel here only shows it in SD and I heard they show HD Programs. the local station (abc) that transmits it toll me a year ago that they did not know just when it was going to be shown in HD? I am guessing it would cost them too mush to up grade the transmission to HD.

so I am hoping maybe Dish will add the HD My Network Channel.

Check the above link for the press release on AMC HD. Channel 130 on Dish Network.

Can't wait to catch THE WALKING DEAD this October! It's going to be sweet: http://dishontv.com/television/the-walking-dead/ Anyone else a fan? I've been reading the comic since day one, Kirkman's a genius.

It also depends on what CSR you get. I got this dude who absolutely refused to turn them on, saying that the nw HD channels were only for VOOM customers and that existing DISH customers had to wait to receive them at a later date. I called back later and got another CSR. Before she could say anything I told her that I was a former VOOM customer and that I had the 61.5 dish. She proceeded to activate everything

Unbelievable how we are literally bursting down their doors to give them our money for HD and yet they (some of them, anyway) refuse to take it!

Can someone tell me if it is possible to use my old Voom dish and point it to the 61.5 sattelite to receive the signal on my new Dishnetwork HD Receiver? What connections are necessary? I am not familiar with some of the terminology so if you can keep it simple maybe I can understand. Thanks
