ESPNews I noticed this weekend was stating that they were now in HD. Any news as to when DISH will have this station.

Wednesday the 30th is almost gone and nothing as far as I can tell. Could it be, they will wait until Friday again for major changes? Do you have any additional info?

I'm not expecting anything just yet. It would be nice to see a few more premium channels in HD considering the cost but hopefully before too long.

Unfortunately, it looks like it's going to be a moot point for those of us who already have DISH because the word going around on a couple of other threads

The components (the LNB, any switches, etc. any hardware associated with the Voom antenna ) are not likely to be compatible with your Dish equipment. If they were, Dish could save a bundle on dish antenna installs as well.

Default Just My Opinion

HI ALL, just my two cents; is that I personally do not consider the ''Premium movie channels" and the HDPPV channels. And some OF THE LAMEST CHANNELS, "green" " APL" WHAT I WANT TO SEE IS: ''FX''. "SPIKE" ''SPEED'' ''MTVHD'', just to name a few.

And now on 369 Palladia. A concert channel similar to RAVE on another VOOM network.

Huh......i watch the green channel everyday. I get all kinds of good ideas from that channel, and it actually means something, unlike watching MTV.

I drive a pickup that runs on WVO and will soon be heating my house with WVO and sawdust. I also have a high efficient heat pump, and the infloor heat in the house and garage will soon run off the WVO as well.

Im going to order solar panels next year.

What do you mean by you dont consider the premium movie channels?? As in you dont watch movies OR you cant afford them cause you drive a hummer?

I agree.

They must "have" to broadcast channels like Green in HD because they're linked to other channels. I've been waiting for FX and Spike to go HD for a while now.

Channels are not negotiated one-by-one but in blocks and packages, you buy the whole package and distribute it or you get nothing.
