Default Great deal on a great Remote

The Harmony 1000 is 1/2 price today on Amazon. It's a top of the line universal remote control that controls EVERYTHING. Super easy to use an replaces every remote control. It can control your fireplace and ceiling fans too. I have had one for some time and paid $500 for it. At $249 it is a steal. My wife loves it more than me.

I have had numerous problems with my Harmony 880. Have you had any issues with your 1000?

None at all. What kind of problems are you having with the 880? I have one of those in the bedroom.

Randomly working. Just the other day my wife had to pull the battery out to stop the splash screen and make the remote functional. When I added my plasma to the mix of activities, the remote will change to other inputs except my HDMI1 input. Tech is working on that. Alot of times hitting help cause all inputs did not sync.

I have owned and used the harmony 550 for over 2 years now with no trouble, best remote ever owned

only down side is, it eats batteries quick

but I own rechargable batteries and a lot of them which saves in long run, the 15 minute rechargable kind, can't remember name at moment

The Harmony 1000 comes with its own recharging station. Same as the 880 & 890.

Duracell just put out those new precharged rechargable batteries, I've used them and thought they were pretty good. They make fun of the sliced bread concept at this silly microsite: www.museumoftheobvious.com
