Default Big HD News!

The most reliable source of HD news that I know of just got word of "Big HD News" coming from Dish.

Unfortunately it seems he is not at liberty to say what it is yet. He did say the news will be out a little later this month.

What can I say? I will pass the news on as soon as possible.

Does your friend take bribes? Maybe we can pool out nickles together and convince him to release the information a little earlier....

Default I wish I knew

I wish I knew what it was...I've been debating for several weeks about whether to switch to DirecTV or not to get the additional HD channels they have announced for September and through the end of the year not to mention the biggest reason of BigTen Network......why in the world hasn't Dish added this yet!?!?!?

Anyways...I don't know whether to wait a couple weeks or just place my order. Dish should know that people are going to be jumping ship with all the marketing that Direct is doing.....a consumer in the know is a better consumer!

Argh.....

I have had Dish for a LONG time. It seems every body is jumping ship at one time or another and to one service and then back again. The grass always seems greener syndrome.
Somehow Dish always seems to have the edge when push comes to shove.
Patience has it's own rewards, but it's your dime!

I don't think anybody 'markets' like Cable.. and most of us would not go there.

I believe that being #1 in HD is a matter of pride with Charlie.

Therefore, Dish subs don't have anything to worry about as far as the number of national HD channels is concerned.

Yes616, was B10N and B10N HD your big news? If not, wonder what else is on the horizon? Right now I'm as "happy as a puppy with 2 peters." This is good for now, but I'll always take more HD channels!!

Yeah.. Big News = Big 10 Network.. Get it?

Channel 439 is the main channel with 4 alternate channels at 440, 441, 442 and 443. A couple of games on Saturdays will be available in HD on channel 9467 as well.

Available to all AT subs through Jan. After that it will be treated as an RSN but it seems available to all al-la-carte after that.
