Default Please help me with my VIP622 and HDTV

Hello ,

I'm hoping to get few questions answered here.

Is it possible to change the Mode from Single Tuner to Dual Tuner from the VIP622 Dish remote?

My HDTV supports a DVI-D, however my VIP622 offers HDMI. Is it possible to buy an HDMI to DVI-D adapter? If so, will it work as good? What happens to the audio, since HDMI offers both video and audio and DVI-D is only video?

And last but not least, my HDTV supports 480p, 1080i and 720p. What should the setting be on the VIP622 for Hi Def? The default was set to 480p. Should I set both the VIP622 and my HDTV to 1080i?

I would appreciate any help...thanks

Yes you can change to duel mode on your remote. Go to the setup menu. Adapter would work but hbmi to dvi cable is best. Use optical cable to home theater receiver for audio. Try both 720p and 1080i and use the one you like best.

Really, where to after the setup menu? I do not see anything to allow you to do that.

Have you read through the manual that came with your 622? This is all covered there plus much much more.

Yes, I read the manual, states the Single/Dual button on the front of the receiver, states nothing of being able to switch via the remote. Wal-dog says you can change it with the remote. I am asking him how as he said was under the setup menu and nothing else.
