Default dish code for programming LG remote control

I just purchased an LG 50LN5100 tv and need to know what the 3 digit code on the dish 5.3 IR dish remote control needs to be set at to allow the dish remote to control the tv.

Please try the following codes: 520, 505, 627, 766, 0000, 500, 678, 002, 852, or 512.

Here is a link to look up the codes: http://www.mydish.com/support/apps/r...931.1386789222. Thanks.

There are several codes to try according to Dish's website. Start here:

Looks like you beat me, Ray. Please not that my link is for tv only, the code may be different if it is a tv/dvd combo and you may need to try all of them to see if you get all the functions of the tv.

elder thread
I downloaded many movies to my computer (yeah, I am a movie fanatic), maybe the movies are too much that the hard drive capacity of my computer is not enough, but I don’t want to delete any one of them. Some movies are in MP4 format, is there any MP4 to DVD converter recommended? I think it will be wonderful to burn my loving movies to disc for storage.
