Default DishNet Sports Package?

I recently had DishNet installed, Top 120. The CSR who took my order assured me that I would get all the sports channels. I'm on the west coast, and want to watch Detroit sports. They claimed that I would get Fox Sports Detroit. Now that it is installed, I don't get that channel. Further, when I called tech support about a different issue, they told me that I'd have to purchase a sports package ($6/month). I agreed to this, but was informed that I still wouldn't get the Detroit sports as they are blacked out outside Michigan due to regionality. Any thoughts on this?

I have the Dish 180 package, and I DO get all the FOX regional networks... BUT... at least with hockey, most are blacked out during actual games (and SADLY, even re-broadcasts of games!!).

I have noticed that I could get NHL games on a couple of those regional channels (MSG is one - for NY NHL teams) & I forget the other channel.

Anyway, I also pay the extra $5.99 so that I can get fox sports west AND FSW2.

I have the fox sports package and NHL Center Ice.
I was watching a game on Center Ice, but it was a fox sports affiliate broadcasting it, so I changed the channel to that Fox channel and IT was blacked out on there.

I subscribe to the Fox package during basketball season and then cancel it after the season. The only blackout problems I get is that sometimes when my local team is playing away that local fox outlet will be blocked out here. Of course, you may only want it for your local team. If so, you may be disappointed.

It is a hassle that I can't subscribe to the Fox package on the web--I have to call them.
