How to get 2 tuners to work with only 1 cable?

I have a Zinwell WB68 in the wiring closet, and there is a single coax from there to one of the bedrooms where I have a dual-tuner receiver. Is there any way to grab one of the spare outputs (I'm only using 6 of the 8) and use a diplexor type device to run both signals across the one cable? I remember that Dish Network was able to do that before I switched to DirecTV.

Thanks.

NO. You need to run an additional cable to use both tuners.

I assume that you are using a B-Band converter on all of your receivers. This is the small plastic box that has a coax pigtail on one end. If this is not connected to your receiver you will not receive any HD (MPEG4) content from 99B or 103B.

Yeah,in the diagram above you will notice that the splitters and connected to the same voltages on each multiswitch so there is no conflict.

Antenna Help

Can I connect an off-air antenna to my zinwell multi-switch so that I can have an antenna feed to all my coax jacks in my house????

All help will be appreciated.

yes have hd signal to my receivers; but I am experimenting with local hd off air and want to know if my current multi switch will work, so I can just plug in a diplexer at my tv location and switch to off air. The zinwell wb68 has 2 flexports but nothing labeled antenna in so I am not sure if i can do this. Please clarify if you can.

the Flex ports are used for additional International Dish Sat LNB connections.

You will need to run a Separate RG6 from your outside ATT. Or get a AM21 From D* and Connect your Att to that and then the AM21 to your HD/ HDDVR and the Stations will show up in the guide.

If you are using Whole home option you can not Diples the RG6 Signal as it use the saw Feq . as OFF AIR Channels

So I changed it reset the receiver, first I got a starching for sat..771 message, reset it again and the HD and SD channels appeared,. When I selected an HD channel the 711 message returned when I turn the receiver off an on or select SD channels the & returns, but I can't get all the channels. Every time I reset I get eather the lower channels or the higher channels but can't access the HD I get &711.

Try-This:

Error Code 711- Access Card not Active
This is usually associated with a new access card. Tune to channel 377, and verify that the error code still appears?
Solution 1: Contact DirecTV to have them reactivate the card onto your DirecTV account.

It may also mean your receiver may be going (south)

I checked the 4 cables at the dish and disconnected one cable at a time while my wife watched the signal meters.http://goo.gl/Z3g1EF
