Default Mitsubishis WS65813 PIP

I am considering this unit but am concerned that PIP will work when I am using a Comcast set top box to receive the signal(s). Will I be able to use PIP with this combination of equipment?

In order for any PIP to work there needs to be a video source for each window. This can be the TV's tuner or tuners in the case of a TV with dual tuners. Other sources could be anything that is connected to a video input. Now if you have analog cable as well as the digital cable then you can split the cable and feed both the STB and the TV tuner. This will allow you to show the STB in one of the PIP windows and the TV tuner in the other.

If you only can get digital cable, you will need two cable boxes, one for each PIP window. Same is true for satellite service, you would need two receivers, one for each PIP window.

Please note PIP is not a function of a cable box or satellite receiver, it is a function of the TV. Any TV you get will work the same.

Default Thank you

Thanks - although the manual for this TV is over a hundred pages long, this description gives me the confidence that I can get the PIP to work.
Thanks again,
