Default What's the difference between 1B1T and 2T

Hi,

most of the DirecTv dealers I visited, offers this for 2Dvr/Tivo capability:

1 Basic DirectV basic receiver+
1 Tivo
Does the above combination offers Tivo capability for 2Tv or just one TV?

Some dealers offer one more combination:
2*Tivo

What's the difference between these two combincations other than price?

I'm confused.

Thanks a lot!

Regards

The first combo offers Tivo for one TV only... Seeing that you are new to the forum, I would recommend reading the posts about the new equipment coming to Directv, as well as some of the associated costs.

One thing that I can tell you is that Tivo is soon to be a thing of the past at Directv...

Default D* DVR Facts

Hi,

please correct me if I'm not wrong, if I want to have to have 4 Tv having DVR capability, I need to order 4 sets of DVR from D*TV, right?

Since most of the dealers offers 3SD + 1DV, am I right to say that I should do the following if I want to have 4DVR capability on 4TV?

order 1 room DTV
and order 3 extra sets of DTV?

thanks

Regards

I would suggest you talk to some dealers. The package you want is not a standard setup, but they may be able to cut you a deal. 4 DVRs will require a total of 8 coax feeds, so in addition to the dish and receivers they will need to furnish a multiswitch, so let them figure out what exactly you will need.

Hi

there's a difference between the DVR receiver offered by DirecTv and DishNetwork,

DishNetwork receiver , 625 can be connected to 2Tvs (when DVR is not playing or not recording, it act as SD dual tuner,i.e 322)
DirecTV receiver, R15 can only be connected to 2Tv

so if I want to order just one set of R15 and want to view it on 2Tvs, what should I do?

what additional equipment should I buy? Any recommendations?

thanks
