Default How do I watch previous recordings...

I HATE the new DTV software interface...

Can't figure out how to watch a series that I recorded other than the last episode.

Before this crappy update, I would turn on the set, click on "menu", select the show and then see all the previous recorded shows where it was easy to select the "oldest" show in a series. Now all I see is the last episode that was recorded.

On Demand doesn't seem to be the answer. Who the hell at DTV approved this update? I would pay $100 to go back to the old interface.

I do think the new software is junk, mainly because it was dumped on us WITHOUT any explanation of the changes. Today after much mucking around, I discovered "View Playlist" in the Recordings line and wonders of the world, there were all my recordings that I thought were no longer available.

Now I'm wondering if there is a "to do" list somewhere in the new setup?

Iíve had the same problem when I deleted a whole series in error instead of just one episode. Iíve learned to avoid the delete button in the expanded view when thereís unwatched episodes listed in the upper-right corner. I just click Select and delete via the list below the expanded view. Those that have been watched will be dimmed.

HEY, that's a good one also. I've looked for it without success. It was an option I've used quite a bit with the old interface.

I still can't believe DTV just out of the blue, said here's the new interface, go play with it and see if you can figure it out.

Using the remote - List - go to manage recordings -their you will find upcoming recording-(to-do-list)

Series manager

and so on

Hey, that's a GREAT FIND. Still don't think the display is as good as the previous "find", but it works and maybe when I get used to it, I'll like it better.
