Default NFL Sunday Ticket cost....

Wondering if there is a lower cost to Sunday Ticket for the second year after the 1st free year for new service?

You can usually call DTV and haggle with them for a cheaper price. Just mention words like CANCEL MY ACCOUNT and watch the magic happen.

Maybe Yes, Maybe NO - I would call in Aug and ask -Reminder 4K Football is coming - I base this on MLB announcement of 25 4K this yr

Default Directv app...

Tonight I tried to get my local Roots sports channel to watch a baseball game (in my home.)

Instead, I got the following message...

"We ran into a bit of a problem. Looks like your receiver is in use or you're streaming to another device".

I was NOT streaming to another device although my DVR may be recording something else. Regardless, I then tried ESPN and a local channel and was able to view both of them live.

Wondering if I can't watch Roots because I'm in my OWN home or there is a restriction about watching it via streaming verses just tuning my TV to Roots (channel 687)? I seem to remember watching Roots last year via the DTV app on both my iPhone and iPad.

I decided to blow off Sunday ticket. Last year I only watched a few games. When I called to cancel, DTV didn't offer much (a few dollars off the regular price). I can watch the Seahawk on several channels since that is my local team. I mainly wanted to watch a few games of the Bengals since they drafted Ross (wide receiver) from my Husky team.

Be interesting to see what 4K NFL programing turns up. Right now I'm guessing it will only be on the 4k channel 106. Think they'll black that out? I'm guessing not as the name of the game is to build the 4K market for now.

I did the same as I got not offer either last season- If they follow what MLB did this season with 25 games on 106 -you could see maybe 16 games during the season on 106?

I would also expect around 2018 to see a 4K NFL ST offer - That's around the time D* will light up D15 and move the current 4K channels to that and add a few more. When that happens in order to Receive the 4K Channel PKG a RB-LNB will be required.

You can bet a $4K Channel Charge (fee) will also be added- So Let the Whining begin

I guess you're saying I'll need another LNB. Think that means a new antenna as well?

Re $4 channel charge for 4K channel, that's fine with me. I think I'm aready paying around that for 4K NetFlix. And yes, the whiners will be screaming. Last time I looked, there was no free lunch (except for veterans on Veterans Day).

At least I won't have to pay for a service call for the LNB since I joined the Service Plan. I've already had 2 free service calls although I know they're NOT free since the service plan charge is paid monthly.

I called and complained about new customers and even existing customers getting the free offer and me not getting it despite being with DTV for a long time. They gave it to me half price but also gave me a $60.00 per month credit on my bill for 12 months, so I was happy. I'm almost embarrassed to go back asking for a discount again this year...but I bet I do.

just got off the phone with D*tv and they gave me Sunday Ticket Max for four payments of $24.99, so $100 for the whole season. Easily the best deal they've given me (and I call every year to talk them down)

Anyone try the NFL Game Pass deal for $99? Wonder how the video stream is? Also, how long the free trial offer is?

I just got a email for FREE ST MAX - this season -with auto renew for next season @ $281 - Looks like NFL & D* are having trouble getting eye balls - I'm passing on this deal - have lost interest
