Default HR44 Series Manager Question?

My HR44 was installed by a DirecTV tech 5 days ago and everything seems OK, I love it. But I have noticed something about the Series Manager that doesn't seem right.

The Series Manager in this DVR gives me the option of recording sporting events from all channels I subscribe to with one Series Manager entry. This is great because if a type of event, such as NASCAR Racing, might be shown on 5 or 6 different channels during the season I only need 1 Series Manager entry instead of the 5 or 6 I needed with my HR23.

The problem is the Series Manager will only show the events, races in this case, on one of the scheduled channels. For example if there are different NASCAR events shown on 4 channels this weekend the Series Manager only shows them on one of the 4 channels. But it apparently schedules all of them because they all show up in the To Do list. So I don't think I am going to miss anything. But it would be nicer if all the appropriate channels would show in the Series Manager so I could check on future recordings without going to the To Do list.

This feature which records an event from all channels is completely new to me, has anyone else seen this problem? I did try deleting the Series Manager entry for NASCAR Racing then reentering it but that didn't help.

It really not a problem - That's the way it works (software Limits) Records all the "shows" as default -so as NOT to miss any -No way from the menu to edit it - it's just all or nothing.

Thanks if that's the way it works and I don't have a software problem I'm OK with it the way it is. I can check the scheduled recordings in the To Do list rather than the Series Manager.
