Default question about image tear

I have the 420 34 sony. It seems I get an image tear either when ota hd pics are changing from 1 scene to the next every once in a while or with really fast flashing images. Is this something to be worried about as is this an internal problem that could get worse, or is this just something that should be expected. This does not bother me much, but I want to make sure it won't get worse.
