Default Upgraded but video has gone to hell....

I recently let a friend talk me into upgrading my system (he had another friend who wanted to sell their parts).

Now I had a Nvidia 7200GS video card and everything looked great and ran great. My friend put in a Nvidia 7600GT and now video is a heavily pixelated mess and I get screen glitches (I run 2 screens and one will black out for a few seconds occasionally or the screen will glitch/split momentarily.

Now the motherboard and processor were also upgraded.

A few questions:

1) Is the 7600GT a better video card? (according to Wikipedia it was released in 2006 wheras the 7200 was released in 2007).

2) If it is a better video card, then can anyone make a suggestion on what might be going wrong?

THANKS

Go here and download a current driver: http://downloads.guru3d.com/Videocar...Vista_c32.html

You will need to remove the current drivers first.
If you still aren't happy, I've got an 8600 GT I will sell you. PM me if you're interested.

The 7600GT can handle 1920x1200 resolution can't it?

Is it a better card than the 7200GS?
