Wink PC DVI-I Out-put to HD DVI-I In-put - TV Koss KLD2700 - Video Nvidia NX6600LE

Tried both DVI-I to DVI-I plus a DVI-D to DVI-D Dual Link
cables but no reception ... so were stuck using SVIDEO which
gives reception but only goes as high as 1024x768 and its
blurry so were using 800x600 which isa little better.

Can anybody please give any clue as to how getting DVI working
with this setup. Thanks.

Some more details in our aid. Video card manual says it uses DVI-I Out-put port and the HDTV manual says it requires a DVI-I Dual Link
cable. The TV has the DVI port plus a 15 pin D-Sub port. The Video Card has a DVI, SVID, 15p D-Sub with TV Out.

In the kit they also gave a VGA2DVI converter for whatever that is used for? No cable come along with it, just the converter. Maybe I need to utilize it?, how. Thanks

I am not sure on what the DVI issue is as long as you are using the correct cable. DVI would be your best bet if it works. I had my card going DVI-D (single link) on the video card end to my plasma via DVI/HDMI adapter and it worked great. VGA also worked and looked great as well. I would make sure you can make it work with the VGA 1st. If VGA does work, it is probably a cable/pin issue..

S-Video is analog only and can't handle HD or higher resolutions. Your VGA/PC input/output will handle HD and higher resolutions quite well and will do the trick. It sounds like the adapter is a VGA to DVI-D on for the VC..

With the nVidia cards, you need to right click on the desktop and go to properties. Go to Settings, then advanced. You have to enable the second display. By default, nothing is output via DVI.

I can't remember but don't you still have to do the same with S-video as well as DVI/VGA? He got S-Video to work, so I assumed he did that already. But you know what happens when you assume..

Default PC DVI-I Out-put to HD DVI-I In-put - TV Koss KLD2700 - Video Nvidia NX6600LE

Thanks for the fast replies.

kegobeer - I tried what you said but it doesn't show "enable second display" - Do i need to first "Add remove Hardware" then pick either
1. "Display" or 2. "Monitor" ? ... If so, I can see these options only under Win98SE but cannot find them under WinXP.

Anymore help ... I'd be greatfull for. Thanks so much so far - I feel its getting closer

on w/ the quest thank yous

Just go to your nVidia control panel, click on Display, and you'll see the section on multiple displays. If you don't see this stuff, you need to update your nVidia drivers.
