Default Recording to DVD

Hi, just bought a Panasonic hd camcorder to record Nativity play. Looks great on tv screen and thats about it. How doI successfully
download onto my windows, edit it in the Panasonic hd software and write to DVD? The quality I have got at the moment is really poor and even worse then the old tape method! Any ideas?
Thanks

Head over to the video/photography section. There is a WHOLE lot of info over there. It's a topic that is way too broad to discuss in one thread.

The short answer is that you should be able to copy the files from the camera to the PC manually (I like to use Windows Live Photo Gallery myself for managing pictures/videos). Then edit with an editor (not sure how good the panasonic one is) and output to DVD.

The problem here though is that DVD is not HD. If you have a blu-ray player, you'd be far better off burning to Blu-ray or you can burn in a specific way to DVD that blu-ray can read in high def, but space will be eaten up quickly. This would be a good topic for the HD camera section.
