Default simple USB adaptor for older a/v receiver

I have done some research, but have not found the device I am looking for....

A simple, one function, adaptor to allow the use of a USB flash memory stick loaded with MP3 or WMA digital files on an older a/v receiver.

In other words, a USB input digital music decoder that outputs to a simple RCA analog red/white cable which can connect to the AUX input of an older stereo or early HT a/v receiver.

I can do this with the Roku box and the WD TV Live Plus box I own, but it requires a monitor/TV to make the proper settings for music playback on the firmware menus. I would like to just plug in a USB flash memory stick and the adaptor will play the music loaded on it....no menus or further input needed.

Has anyone run across a device like that ????

thanks,
Martin

Sounds to me like you are essentially describing an MP3 player. Just get a mini plug to dual rca connectors to hook up and press the play button.

Yes, a simple MP3 player but without the hassle of batteries and I can easily change playlists by switching USB flash memory sticks. I do this with my $100 "Dual" brand car radio with USB input and I would be great if I could use the flash memory playlists on my home system
