hey so i just got a new Samsung LN40C610 40" 120Hz tv and i have my res set to 1920x1080 at 60Hz now i know the tv cant accept 120Hz and just up converts to 120Hz now here is my issue i get a small stutter every 10-15 sec is there a reason for this .....my hardware should not be a problem

Windows 7 64-Bit
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83 GHz
8GB DDR 2 RAM
ATI RADEON HD5770 1GB GDDR5
ATI TV WONDER HD650 PCI
Avermedia M791AB
XFX 750i Mobo
Logitech Z5500 5.1 Digital

i know its not the tv if i plug in a flash drive with the same video im trying to watch in WMC it plays flawlessly or if i plug my DTV antenna in same thing it plays great it just does this with my pc any ideas??

V sync enabled on the card or some other issue causing diff w tv doubling frame rate or poss prob w all 120 processing either way why do you feel 120hz neccessary? usually this only adds enhancements that lead to the dreaded SOE.

Soap Opera Effect. The only real benefit to 120hz is if a 24 fps source is natively accepted and then quintupled (multiplied x5) to give 120hz signal avoiding 3:2 pulldown but your tv converts by 3:2 pulldown to 60 hz then doubles the rate to 120 which isa really of no value. and changing frame/display ratesreally isn't upconversion (that is changing resolutions). There is no native 120hz content to be had.
