Explaining how I came to my opinions based on my experience would likely take a lot of time and i'll save it for another day if it ever occurs to me. Part of how I reach my opinion has to do with conservative economics and other opinions I have about insurance in general. I'm a very complex person to analyze and understand........

For now, i'm just having fun watching the BD supporters get upset over Paramount/Dreamwork's decision to go HD-DVD exclusive which I admit has me completely stunned as an HD-DVD supporter.........

I am glad things are working out well for both you and your parents.

Hey, I'm surprized you weren't more sympathetic on that other string about insurance.

Seems you have first hand experience on the trials and troubles of those who are uninsured and underinsured.

Good luck. I am sure there are good things ahead.

As an HD DVD owner, I have to agree with that one too.

1997 Crown Victoria P71.No I dont think im a cop or drive that way either.Nor did I ADD anything to promote that observation either.
Paid $2,500 with 93,187 on it.Now "Fakin Bacon " has 148,XXX

Mythbusting.
1 No there is NO cop chip is existence.
2 There isnt really a cop motor,Just aggressive timing and true duals.
3 The limiter is and always has been set to 109 MPH( Varies by year).Motorola does all the work for them.

I love those Crown Victoria's and will cry if Ford ever discontinues them. How can you not like the last of the traditional full size American V8 powered Right wheel drive car? I had a 2000 with the Sport and Handling package that I sold to my father a while ago when his Honda kept giving him problems. His Honda had 140k miles and was simply falling apart to hell(literally).

From my understanding for the 98+ Crown Victoria's, the Police Interceptors also came with a heavy duty engine oil cooler, more aggressive brake pads, more aggressive engine tuning that featured more aggressive shifts and a higher redline with higher shiftpoints, and a heavy duty suspension. I believe a transmission cooler became standard starting in 98 with even the civilian CV's. I also believe that the PI CV's also came with an upgraded driveshaft as well. Of course it's been a while and my knowledge is very likely fuzzy on these matters, but my love for this special last of it's kind car will always remain. It also does pretty well as some people arn't aware that the CV is a fairly fuel efficient vehicle despite it's size and standard v8. It is rated 17/25 which is no better than some regular midsize cars out there.

Somehow the Blues Brothers comes to mind
I love it!

My parents used to always have "the big Merc", as a matter of fact they still do have a 90's Grand Marquis.

It may be small, but I like that exterior design much more than the American Accord design as it looks sporty, yet tasteful. I just wish Acura would have stuffed a little more power into that TSX as you can only do so much with a I4.

I think it was to be a TL-junior... a little too junior I think. Small V6 would have been a nice sport option.
I've had nothing but FWD for quite a while. It is a pleasure to have a G35 with RWD and almost equal wt. dist. to throw into corners.
Granted, how much you enjoy it, could depend on your climate.

I know if I lived in a warm climate year round, I would definitely be in a RWD car.
