It's the compression ratio, I sure love that whine!

It's hard to beat the sound of a v12 Ferrari or an F1 car. Anytime I see an exotic around down goes the window and I'm listening and lovin' it!

I love the standing starts in an F1 race I crank up the TV and just listen to the symphony of F1 engines nothing sounds sweeter.

Yea,but if you haven't experienced any of them you probably won't. I am an independent used car dealer and have sold many a Murano.....they are an excellent SUV.The fuel door is the number one problem I have personally seen.Only certain kinds of home made CD's give problem's,that I know of.I am a big fan of the CVT mixer. There have been some problems with the earlier models, mostly replaced under warranty or goodwill ticket repairs.Pretty lakeside setting as well.......

I will keep an eye out for those, and I still have almost 2 years bumper to bumper left. Thanks, I just took a bunch of picks about 4 hours ago.

RAZOR!! Yea bro, Im smiling like a schoolgirl Good buy on the Murano man. Yea man, almost all of the CVT problems were in the early models and since have been worked out and are fine. Hell theres a few dozen guys from my Maxima forum running them at the track. Theyre trying to push the envelope with them and Im almost certain right now theres a few guys pushing just under 400 ponies through theirs and havent had problems yet.

wow, had no idea there was an aftermarket following for the Murano. That's great. What is the big mod pushing them into the 400 range? Are they using forced induction?

No Im sorry bro....I meant the CVT tranny in general. But Im sure the Murano would be a cinch to push higher HP....I would love the chance to get a crack at one. The GT-C model is factory turbo charged which bumps it up to nearly 350bhp....not bad right? It uses a garrtett turbo, actually kinda a hybrid with the turbine from a T3 and the compressor from the T4. Even boosted it keeps the 10.3:1 compression too and coupled with that CVT trannny, very nice.

Thanks bro. Ya that CVT is as smooth as silk. Heh, I couldn't imagine having 400 ponies under the hood.
