Default Calling All Audi and Lexus Owners. Advice

After many years of my trusty Subaru, I'm taking the plunge into a replacement vehicle. My tastes have somewhat changed over the years, and I'm looking for something with good fuel efficiency, and a luxury, "fun" car to drive. AWD is a nice to have. (not a necessity, as we also have a Toyota highlander)

Audi
I was looking at this car -

Plan to take it for a drive and check it out. Anyone have experience with the A6?

Lexus

Don't know anyone who's had a negative experience with Lexus. The line right now I am looking at is the ES/IS Lexus models. Took a couple of test drives with these models yesterday. They drive very nice, and have a great feel. BMW, Acura (TLX line) has been eliminated in the race. Have not checked Infinity Q50 series yet.

[EDIT] Took the Infinity out, whatever. I am now down to Audi vs Lexus. Probably Certified Pre-owned A6 3.0 Turbocharged, or a Lexus ES/GS.

Sorry man. Never owned one of the above cars. I'm a truck / suv guy anyway.
Let the redneck jokes begin.

Not owned any Audi's but neighbor has and I've gone for rides with him. I've owned a couple Lexus, still do. In general, Lexus for comfort and quiet, Audi for more "driving experience" such as feel for the road, etc. We both have SUV's, his is a stiffer ride. Have owned an ES as well and would have similar comments.

Latest overall quality ratings give better results to Lexus......been that way for awhile.
