Default 2017 Ford GT Supercar revving and idling

I don't know how many of you guys caught this, but this could very well be the baddest $220k Supercar that money can buy. No wonder this thing will be the featured cover car for Forza Motorsport 6. Listen to that badboy rev near the end of the video. 600+ hp from a 3.5 litre twin turbo V6.

This thread should be in the Car Forum. Gearheads need to see this.

Ford does not often build an exceptional performance car but when they do...

Just like Cobra, the former GT and others, this will push the Italians to better supercars.

Stunning.

I honestly think it is incredible as they do Supercars right. It is almost like they take the bean counters off duty every once in a while to get a piece or art put onto the market. This 2017 GT when it goes on sale next year is going to change the game once again not just on the street, but also at The 24 hours

The performance is there...but I hate do not like the sound. V6's always sound...flatulent.

2017 is so far away, maybe when the car is published, many things are changed to the car.

Ford hasn't built a supercar. It's created a weapon. I won't get to slide behind the steering wheel of the nearly-production-ready GT idling in pit lane today. But I won't be far away. Piling into the passenger seat, I'm astonished at the narrowness of the cockpit. The center console is no wider than a smartphone; reaching for my seatbelt, I grind my left shoulder against my driver's right. It's almost romantic, reminding me of close-coupled vintage sports cars from the days before cupholders.
