Lots of pictures of the restoration at link - not a single one of the Trim Tag.
I believe that these cars are one and the same:

Barrett Jackson SCOTTSDALE 2008

VIN: 136670B191296

4 Speed

This car has an "interesting" pedigree. This VIN was sold at the Barrett Jackson Scottsdale 2003 auction to Reggie Jackson for $49,000. But it wasn't blue. It was Gobi Beige. And it is definitely NOT a factory built LS6 convertible. It's a recreation/clone/"undocumented LS6"

VIN:136670B111501

4 Speed

THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL,EXCELLANT DRIVING AND HANDLING UNDOCUMENTED LS-6 CONVERTIBLE CHEVELLE SS

From the link to this car:

Quote:
The car has been inspected and documented (by photo and part numbers) by a national Chevelle expert and is a factory 1970 LS6 CV!! It is an all-matching numbers car as well. Car is registered with the national LS-6 Registry!
ANOTHER FAKE LS6 Convertible! And again from R & S. Look at the VIN and match it up to the Kansas City Plant's production numbers. This car was built in November 1969. ALL LS6 Chevelles (with one exception - the Canada Export Car) were built in December 1969 on. You can click on the Export Car's VIN and you will see the Build Sheet with " PILOT CAR" written right on it.

http://ls6registry.com/tech/production_numbers.htm

And the car is NOT registered with the LS6 Registery - look under Kansas City. There are NO convertibles listed (13667). If this car was accepted by the LS6 Registry, it would have been the 2nd car on the list. It isn't there.

Originally sold from MARHOFFER CHEVROLET - STOW, OH. The car was built the 3rd week of December 1969. On the trim tag the build date is 12C. This is what the car looked like when it was new:

One primary reason for collectors seeking Canadian-sold and/or -manufactured GM muscle is the fact GM-Canada has documentation available for virtually ALL '57-later vehicles. COPOs, LS6s, Vettes, and all other GM Brands/Models.

GM-Canada Historical Services in Oshawa has "saved the day" more than once, for more than one potential buyer.
