I just don't want to go outside right now. The wind has picked up and i'm cold, LOL!

I did manage to try out the HD radio that is for some wierd reason only available on the Escape with the nav system, and I will say that SM/Sirius is super DEAD if HD radio manages to catch on. I was able to find 4 local stations that also broadcast for HD Radio, and the sound quality was so crystal clear. No way do I want to pay to listen to something I get for free.

I'll take some pics as soon as I have a chance, but I will probably need to wash it first. It is amazing how fast road salt cakes onto a black vehicle.

How about a sketch of it !

Glad it worked out.
It's kinda strange,
people don't consider Escapes but when they get one they really like them even after the newness wears off.
We really like ours and my daughters '09 is much more refined than our '02.

Everything cakes on to a black vehicle, not just salt. lol .. I know, I owned a few.. Good luck keeping it clean.. They are a pain to keep clean, but when they are, WOW..

I'm afraid that i'm not a very good artist, but i'll get some pics eventually. Ironically, the only other black car i've ever owned was that Land Rover Freelander that spent 3 out of 6 months I owned it in the shop for just about everything in the world.

I think what makes the Escape so unique, is that it feels more truck like than car like. This is an exclusive since no other small SUV on the market feels like a truck. For those of us who still want to have a hint of an SUV in our small SUV's, the Escape is the last of its kind. A brand new redesigned Escape based on the European Kaga carlike platform is supposed to be coming out very soon, and I have a feeling that this is it for the small SUV that still keeps to its traditional non girly-fied roots.

The escape/mariner/tribute are the few, if not only, small SUV's left where I can still put my 2 medium-large dogs in the back without flipping the second row...alot of these smaller SUV's have no back end for my dogs or are too rounded.
congrats and I know you will love it
