Pontiac Mike:

Would you happen to know approx. what % of 1969 GTO Judges were ordered with a Vinyl Top? My experience looking at photos would guess less than 15%.

That's a good question Lee. That information is currently unknown, but the invoices exist, so it would just be a matter of crunching the numbers. Unfortunately, only PHS would have the ability to do that, and they aren't interested in helping the Pontiac hobby that way.

The first Judges were all Carousel Red, then in Feb 1969 when Pontiac opened up their color pallet to allow any GTO color to be ordered on a Judge, orders came in for other colors, and of course at that time some vinyl top cars, so it has to be quite rare to see a vinyl top on a Judge. I wouldn't be surprised if it the number of Judges with vinyl tops is actually less that 15%, maybe closer to 5%-10%, but it's hard to say.

They look nice but Mercury never offered the Chrome Magnum 500 wheels on the Eliminator as an option
