Thanks Lee for the SD396 pictures.
You probably know that the L-78 was not available for those cars, strickly reserved to their sisters Chevelle, therefore only L-35 and L-34.

I do know that - an not much else about the Beaumonts.

Not having the L78 is what prompted some dealers to install 427s in Beaumonts

1967 Firebird - Special Order Paint: Mist Pink

This car is a survivor so the paint is a bit faded. Mist Pink was not a production color in 1967. In 1968, Pontiac made Pink Mist a production color for it's Spring sales on all cars except the GTO with the Endura bumper. There does exist a 1968 Pink Mist GTO with chrome bumper but unfortunately no photos have surfaced

Did you know . . .

When Pontiac added Windward Blue to the 1968 Firebird, that made 5 different shades of Blue available: Nordic Blue, Aegena Blue, Alpine Blue, and Aleutian Blue

I see the Trans Am option for the 1969 Firebird (W54) . . . but I do not see any RWL tires as an option which once again leads me to believe RWL tires on a 1969 Trans Am are incorrect

Neither the prototypes nor the Press Release photo showed RWL tires

redlineit and perk like this.
