I have looked at all 466 pages really a good job, sure enjoy seeing these cars again. It sure helps a person see what to look for when he want to buy a car, Maybe I was a little to fast in buying if this car is a
1966 Galaxie 500 xl 390 cid do you know how many of these were produces

That's a beauty! As long as you didn't get scammed . . . buyer told you it was a real 427 Galaxie and it wasn't, then enjoy the car for what it is. Always like the 1966 Galaxie styling.

AFAIK, that info is not available. Only thing I found was this:

The 1966 Galaxie 500 XL had the 289/2V as the standard engine. There were a number of engine options:

352/4V
390/2V
390/4V
428/4V
427/4V
427/8V

Thanks for the update actually a very nice car very happy with it. Last year I bought the 1999 Plymouth Prowler and I have a 2015 Corvette Stingray on order should receive about April month. Really looking forward to the Stingray.

The owner of this 1969 428 CJ RA Cougar Convertible claims the car has had a full restoration and is "better than new." For some reason they left off the hood striping which all of them had (no stripe delete option)
