Did you know . . .

The 1962 Thunderbird Sports Roadster was given the final green light by . . . Lee Iacocca . . . who was car marketing manager for Ford at the time. The Sports Roadster was an attempt to make the Thunderbird look sleeker, smaller and provide a sportier example of the T-Bird that harked back to the mid-1950s two-passenger versions.

Unlike the 1970, there were no Engine Callout Emblems. 1970 had "V8" and "383 Four Barrel"
