The owner of this car also owns the only 1970 Black Boss 302 Eliminator made. He states it will begin restoration next month and be unveiled at the 2015 MCACN show.

This was a magazine ad for the 1967 Fairlane GT. . . Bu it is incorrect. Ford did not make the 427 engine option available on the GT. Only on the Fairlane, Fairlane 500 and Fairlane XL.

The car in the ad above is pre-production. If you look at the 427 Engine Callout Emblem, it differs from the production one like the one that is on the Blue one above.

My neighbor has a 1968 Buick wildcat that is sitting in his garage covered in boxes of things he has collected. He won't part with it and I have tried to no avail.

Did you know . . .

The 1971 Dodge Demon 340 weighed just 3165 pounds. This made it VERY competitive against most of the 1971 Muscle Cars including the big blocks, especially when the 3.91 rear gears were ordered. Plus it was under the "insurance radar" for high premiums. Dodge sold 10,098 of them in 1971 - about 3000 less then the previous year with the Dart Swinger 340.
