Did you know . . .

1972 was also the first year that a few one off colored Trans Am's were built. To date, there are 5 known One of One TA's with factory color changes from the standard Lucerne Blue or Cameo White:

1 - Silver TA with automatic and black interior

1 - Primered TA with automatic and black interior. This car has been black all of it's life

1 - Red TA with automatic and black deluxe interior. This car was built for the President of SCCA.

1 - Pearlized white with automatic and factory custom blue/Ivory deluxe interior. This car was built for Bill Mitchell

1 - Adriatic Blue with 4spd and factory custom blue/Ivory deluxe interior.

Can't find any info on the Silver 1972 Trans Am. Hopefully after the MCACN show some info will surface

Did you know . . .

Of the 76,935 Challengers made in 1970, only 90 are known to be Panther Pink. Of the 1,640 Challenger R/T two-door hardtops built with the 440 Six Pack, just five pink versions are known to exist today, according to Chrysler authority Galen Govier. Although the Shaker hood is rare on any Challenger, all five pink 440 Six Pack cars were outfitted with it.

Did you know . . .

When you ordered a 1969 Mustang Mach 1 with either the 390 or 428 engines, and you ordered a 4 speed, the Tach came standard. It was optional with the Auto trans (any engine) or 351 engines (any trans)
