Pontiac Mike - you want to comment on that please.
Lee, the power steering cooling line was standard on 1969 Trans Ams, also included on all 1969 Firebirds with a/c and with 2.93 gears or numerically higher. They also included the p/s cooling line on all 1969 Firebirds without a/c if the gear ratio was 3.36 or numercially higher. They used these on 1969 Grand Prixs too.

And that's a beautifully restored 1969 Trans Am.

Mike: those are the standard wheels that came on the 1970 Boss 302. Just 15x7" wheels with hubcap and trim ring. So many people add the chrome Magnum 500s that you rarely ever see them.

The styled Steel wheels were an option on the Mach 1. They were 14" only so NA on the Boss 302.

The Sport Wheel Covers (STD on the Mach 1 in 14") were available on the Boss 302 - very rare:

Thanks Lee!

In the 1970 Mustang Accessories brochure it shows the Styled Wheels were not optional on the Boss 302, so I guess they mean they were standard equipment. Odd wording....GM would have stated they were "standard equipment on the Boss 302" rather than saying they were "not optional".

Mike:

The PDF where you got that wheel info is an early version.

https://media.ford.com/content/dam/f...stang_Data.pdf

Here is the picture of the 1970 Boss 302 from the above:

Those are 1969 Boss 302 standard wheels and were not available on the 1970. Here is the car that Ford gave to it's ad agency. Sorry about the low quality. Can't seem top find a HQ photo.
