1 of 612. 1967 wasn't a good year for Chevrolet performance unless you were buying the "top dog" Corvette. They were putting 100% of their effort into the new Camaro and literally hamstrung all other performance cars (except the Corvette) to steer sales towards it. Finally someone decided that Chevelle performance sales were lagging and put the L78 back on the order form.

Highlights

Early production 1969 Z28
Comprehensive restoration
Matching numbers DZ-suffix 302/290 HP engine
M21 4-speed transmission
12 bolt rear end
Cowl hood delete
Rear spoiler delete
Tachometer delete
Console delete
Correct Cortez Silver paint with Black stripes

LOL - he forgot: Front bumper guards delete, vinyl roof delete, AM/FM stereo radio delete, rear defroster delete . . .

Just a note . . . if it really is an early production Z than there was no Cowl hood option. That didn't become an RPO until approx. December 1968.

A special order paint 1970 428 SCJ Cougar Eliminator. Originally delivered with 14" steel wheels, trim rings and hubcaps, current owner added 15" Spyder wheels and F60x15s

Dealer installed (before delivery) 427 aluminum dual quad intake and carbs - both available from the Ford High Performance Parts Catalog.

After the restoration was completed you would think either the shop that did it or the owner would see that the grille emblem is not where it's supposed to be. All they had to do was Google 1969 Z/28. Wrong tires. Those are the Coker 15" repro radials that look like the old bias play. They cost approx. the same as the correct Goodyear Wide Tread GTs BTW.
