Highlights
  • 1 of only 17 4-Speed 6 Barrel Cuda Convertibles produced in 1970
  • 1 of 1 as optioned
  • Documented the original window sticker, broadcast sheet, invoice, down payment ticket and Dave Wise Report
  • Sold new at Smithtown Chrysler Plymouth in Nesconset, New York
  • Three owner car with documented ownership history
  • Only test miles on 5-year nut and bolt rotisserie restoration completed in 2016
  • Estimated $250,000 invested in restoration
  • Original drivetrain
  • 440 6 Barrel engine
  • 4-speed manual transmission
  • 4.10 Super Track Pack
  • Power steering
  • Power brakes

$250,000 for the restoration? It has an added Shaker Hood, the wrong trim rings and the stripe is wrong. They only came in Black for 1970. My guess it is a no stripes car.

Lee, you've been really prolific with photos and detailed info recently. Awesome stuff as always.

Thank you for the kudos!

I have to tell you I am extremely nervous about this Postimage thing. I know they have had problems in the past and they have some how always solved them. Not sure about this time.

The thought of either losing all the photos or spending the literally hundreds of hours having to repair each post in this thread gives me the shivers.

Just as an experiment I fixed all the photos in the Dolby Vision on Blu Ray thread - 7 pages. It took me 45 minutes.

I also have another thread at another forum that is over 80 pages long that I would also have to fix.

Got my fingers crossed they will come up with a solution.

It's not that I don't like them - I really do. But it's difficult to find large high quality photos of factory stock cars.

The images from page 1035 back seem to be missing. May be just me.

It's not you. We are having an issue with the image posting service that we are hoping they will work out and the images will return.

Iíve got a comparatively small 88 page thread with the same issue.

Iíve started to fix the broken links.

I'll be honest with you Skip (and all others who follow this thread) . . . I have no intention of fixing the posts one by one. If it can't be easily fixed by the HDF Staff I will recommend that they get rid of the entire thread and I will start a new one after coping the last few pages which have photos we can see.
Lee,

I hear ya on not fixing each post 1 by 1.

My wife has unpaid college interns working in her department every semester.

Iíll see if I can get a couple of Ďem for ya.

You may think the sign is a public service but it isn't. Those companies pay between $1000 and $1600 (depending on which state) per year to be on that sign.
