This will be the 6th time this 1970 GS 455 Stage 1 Show Car/Prototype will cross the Mecum auction block (May). I still can't figure out why. It's a stunning restoration of a one of a kind car. You would think a collector would want to keep it in his collection . . . nope.

This 1967 Corvette which is an L79 327/350 HP is rarer than an L88. In 1967 Chevy made 20 L88 Corvettes, but only made 2 Corvettes with RPO: N03 - 36.5 gallon "big tank" a $198 option only available on the Coupe.

Currently for sale on Hemmings for $650,000
