To be honest, this isn't as crazy as it might sound. Those super exotic cars are more for show than actually driving. After all, I would suspect that very few of the few people who actually own such cars actually do any decent driving with their exotics. There is a guy in my friend's neighborhood who owns a Ferrari and I have NEVER seen that car outside of the garage. I almost think the guy leaves his garage door open all the time on purpose so that passing motorists can stare at it.

So people who buy such cars want to make it known that they have such cars, and they want to stare at their exotic. You can't stare at a car that is garaged in your climate controlled 9 car garage, and this is the perfect solution. It lets you stare at your car, and it lets you wow potential house guests.

I know people with several old cars that are in good/OK shape that don't drive them very much. Seems like a waste to even have them if you only drive them a few times a year. A co-worker has a nice older camero he drives to work a few times in the summer. I'd probably drive it to work everyday in the summer, what the hell, might as well enjoy it. It's not car show quality.
