Default high intensity bulbs for tail lights

which do you think is brighter?? PIAA extreme white bulbs or those 12 LED bulbs??

I have the altezza tail light mods with the factory bulbs and was thinking of the 12 LED bulbs since they last longer and are supposedly bright, but have been looking at the PIAA extreme white bulbs and those seem to be much brighter.

I just got the PIAA bulbs in the mail yesterday, so I'm going to try those out and see how bright they are...maybe order the LED bulbs as a backup if the PIAA's burn out.

How hot do they burn?? The brightest lights burn around 5000 degrees kelvin, anything hotter, it starts to turn blue, then purple, which results in not as bright light. Anything less then 5000, the same applies, but the colors turn more of yellowish color.
If you go to bright, you may be pulled over since it may be a distraction to other drives.. Check the laws in your area..
