The sound of a DOHC v8 at 7000rpm - priceless!!!

To be honest, i'd rather have the sound of a Windsor 302 at 4000rpms than a DOHC V8 at 7000rpms. I prefer the old school burble along with the traditional big blockey like sound that these older v8's make. It seems that the more high tech a V8 becomes, the less it sounds like a V8. I guess i'm not into that racey sound that you get these days from modern V8's, although there are a few exceptions. For instance Maserati I think has the best sounding V8 currently on the market, and that is one high tech monster.
