Default HDMI Cat 2 cables vs. regular

Ok. on monoprice.com there are the cat2's and then there is the regular ones... wats the difference? i'm looking for no more then 6' & it seems they have sold out of almost all cat 2's except for all those ugly colors lol

For a 6' length is doesn't matter. Any HDMI cable should work just fine. The CAT 2 cables are for longer runs.

what if i needed something alittle longer... i guess the next step would be 10'

& what about these guys... anyone have any info on them?

They have a wide assortment of inexpensive cables and get very good customer reviews. I will have test their products; Thanks for the info.

Cat2 are tricker gauge cables with protective jackets that are certified to be installed in walls. The thicker the gauge of wire the less copper resistance you will have but i have used these and although they have outstanding build quality they are very rigid. And at 2M or less your naked eye will not know the difference between 28 to 24G.
