Default What type of cord do I need?

Hello -

Hoping someone from here can help me, not quite TV related but nevertheless:

I'm looking to have a dual monitor setup. Both monitors (LG Flatron E2250T) have DVI-D and VGA ports.

Desktop has an ATI Radeon HD-5770 card with 1 HDMI, 1 DVI (single) and 1 DisplayPort.

Monitor #1 is currently setup using a DVI-D to HDMI adapter with a HDMI cord to the computer - this works fine.

How should I connect Monitor #2?

Should I buy a DVI-D to DisplayPort cord, or should I get just a regular DVI cord? My concern being the computer has DVI-S and the Monitor being DVI-D.

Also, if I go the display port route, do I need an DP active adapter or is passive ok for my needs?

Each monitors resolution is 1920x1080.
