I've really got my eye on the Sony KD34XBR960 34" for $2200 at Circuit City. I've got a 10% off coupon !!
Anyone here have this TV and would like to comment on it??

Thanks

Hands down the best direct-view HDTV you can buy, hence the price..

sony and circuit cityI've really got my eye on the Sony KD34XBR960 34" for $2200 at Circuit City. I've got a 10% off coupon !!

I also had a 10 percent coupon, they wouldn't add it to sale price, they used their retail or manufacturers price also they wouldn't consider the circuit city website price in the store. Couldn't even produce the matching stand, had to go to sony direct.

Thanks

I've had my KD-34XBR960 for about 3 weeks now and it's unbelievably good. This is Sony's best yet. If you're getting Comcast HD service, it is excellent, and baseball and football are great. This is by far the best bang for the buck - if Circuit City will honor that ten percent off, you've found a DEAL !

Hello All,
I'm new here, so this is my first post :) anyway, I just got this monitor so I thought that I would respond to "soimcrazys" question.

Yes it is awesome!!! I just got it on Friday and have not stopped watching it. However, I might exchange it for a LCD screen.

The reason is because in my TV room I would like a slightly larger TV.
It has nothing to do with the TV as you will not find a better picture anywhere IMHO.

The HD is really breathtaking. I have not been interested in this years Olympics at all but since I got this TV I have been watching them every chance I get :D oh! and watching a DVD (with progessive scan on) is almost HD quality.

I am also seriously considering this TV. Can somebody please tell me where to get the 10% off coupon?

Thanks a lot.

...oh! and watching a DVD (with progessive scan on) is almost HD quality. That's one hell of an almost! There's no way a 480p image looks any where almost to 720p or 1080i. I'll assume you're just extremely enthusiastic about your new purchase, which is cool :)

Great HDTV monitor but like I said I'll be getting something a little larger
and right now after surfing the web for about a week and going here and going there for info, my brain is ready to explode!!

At first I wanted a tube, then a LCDrp, then the DLP, man-o-man am I confused

I need a new HDTV about 40/44"

You have the best picture quality and the most options available for reception. You have the best solution to burn in. You have the best blacks for viewing. Are you sure you want something else?

Hehehe, yup, I know its seems kinda weird, but I would really prefer
a larger screen.

I did have a 46" rp before so I thought that I wouldn't see much differance but I did  although it will take a little bit of getting used to the new set but I'll manage ;)

Heres what I just had ordered and if I don't like it I'll swap it for an LCD rp.

Are you sure you want something else? I guess 34" is just not big enough for him regardless of PQ, blacks and avoiding burn-in. I can relate since I ended up going with a front LCD projector to get a 102" image...and no regrets.
