DVR Hook up

I have a two input DVR receiver which works fine at my home and allows me to record one program and watch another. When I travel in my motorhome, I move the receiver to the motorhome. At present, I am using a single lnb dish to feed the receiver, as I only have a single coax input to the motorhome. This means I can only record if I am watching the same program.

Is there any way I can achieve two inputs to the receiver through one coax cable? I have tried using a splitter on the single input, but the receiver doesn't recognize this as two inputs. I realize I may need a 2 lnb dish, but don't see how that can be wired to work short of running a second coax through a window, which I would prefer not to do.

Would appreciate any suggestions.

You will need a 2 LNB and will have to run a second line.

Another idea is that you could use SWM without running another cable but you'll probably need a new dish with SWM built in and maybe even a new DVR that is SWM compatible.

Thanks. That was very helpful. I'll talk to DirectTV to see what I will need.
