Doesn't someone/anyone here need a new/first bluray player?

You can get a player and 4 movies for under $200. Not bad. cough cough.

Not me...

But this is a pretty good deal. Hopefully the player is actually worth a damn, unlike their previous entries...

The P1600 ($249) and 3600 ($349) seem to be decent.

I think Samsung turned a corner with their 1500/25x0 lineup and haven't looked back since.

It's a decent deal, but I would never buy a Samsung BD player anyway due to their track record. Also, I bought an LG BH200 yesterday so that brings my BD player count up to 3, which should be plenty.

Wouldn't buy a Samsung but you bought a Magnavox?

Deals are now coming as the 2009 Generation Blu-ray players are now off the boats. :)

Well it was only $128 and it has played every disc I have thrown at it flawlessly. It also excellent load times.
